Where we log our workouts
March 30 Cant tell anyone we actually know...So, we're not telling anyone yet, and since we don't really KNOW any of you, I'm going to scream it...
WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!
I'm 6 1/2 weeks... and everything, up to this point, appears to be going okay. I'll know for certain tomorrow after my bloodwork (for the third time)..
But I was told last year that my weight would probably prevent me from conceiving.. so... .78 pounds lighter... seems to be that God is on my side this time.
Please pray for us... and thank you for all your support!! You're great virtual friends!! :) March 10 Well....We've been a little bit preoccupied with work and Wyatt and now we're thinking about having another baby... we had two failed attempts in the last year, attributed, partly, to my weight, so we'll see what happens now.. Sorry we haven't been keeping up, but, you know... life happens. February 20 Work, Work, Work !!!! ChadHello again!!!! It's been a while since my last blog. I've been traveling out of state for work the last week or so and with the recent problems with my Dad it has not given me alot of free time. Sorry !!!!
Anyway with traveling around last week I thought I was doing well. I was eating good and I was out walking everyday and on weigh in day I didn't lose anything. Not one single pound.... I started thinking about the food I ate and still can't believe I didn't lose anything. Well this is a new week and I already know I'm going to lose.
As far as my work-outs go I was not able to lift weights last week but I did walk 6 of the seven days. I'm also jogging more. I did run .5 miles without stopping. I'm now on a cycle of during my walk I walk for .25 miles and then jog for .25 miles. I do these for about 1.25 miles before I'm out of gas. Hopefully in the up coming weeks I can increase the jogging out to .75 or even 1 mile without stopping.
Sorry for the short message.. Not much to talk about since I've been traveling. Hopefully I will have a good weigh-in this week get things rolling in the right direction.
Have Good Evening !!! February 18 Stephanie again... where IS my husband, anyway *looking around*So, I want to talk about a huge reason why we're doing The Biggest Loser Couples Million Pound Match-Up. Today my father-in-law came home from the hospital after having been in since, I think, Thursday? Heart trouble. Lots of heart trouble. It's very scary. I'm married to his son... who has several brothers who have diabetes and heart issues as well. It's a family trait. Will MY son have these problems? NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!!!!
I'm so incredibly happy we're doing what we're doing now, while we're so young (I'm 30 and Chad is 34). Neither of us smoke... we're both fairly healthy (Chad has some cholesterol problems, but we're bagging them with this weight loss and taking Omega 3 & 6 supplements, adding fish to our diets) I'm amazingly healthy for as big as I am, and especially as big as I was (at 324 at my heaviest)... I'm so thankful for our health up to this point and I'm afraid our time was running out.
We've been very stressed this last week with running back and forth to the hospital (40 minutes away) plus Chad working and trying to get in workouts, etc... it's been hectic. So, we haven't been the best at eating healthy this week (we've been frequenting Subway and Applebees :) but we're doing the best we can. I apologize for the big gap in our food journals. There were a few days, I have to admit, that you wouldn't want to see what I ate anyway! lol I'm forgiving myself though and I'm moving on. It's a new week... I weigh-in tomorrow and I cannot wait to weigh-in (how SICK is that?!?!?!) after having started jogging a mile on Friday.
So, wish me luck tomorrow. Good luck to all of you and your weigh-ins this week!!! Watch The Biggest Loser Couples tomorrow night (and hope Mark finally gets the boot this time!! He just does NOT deserve to be there, if you ask me. He's tainting the mission of the people there who are there to lose the weight and not win the money!)
*hugs* ~Steph
I love you Chad... I hope you find your way back to the computer SOON!!!! I'm running out of things to say! lol February 15 Can YOU jog a whole mile??????~Stephanie
I never thought I would be able to do it. It's something I've always wished I could do. I remember being in high school and wanting DESPERATELY to play softball on the school's team but I couldn't because I couldn't run the one lap around the field that I had to run. (What did I think I would do if I hit, yeah right!!, a homerun!!?!?!) So, I didn't play. This morning though, I decided I was going to run 3/4 a mile (I've been doing a half mile at a time up to this point) but after I hit the 3/4 mark I felt so great I knew I could finish out the mile. And I diD!!!!! I jogged a whole mile. I did 1.25 miles in 27 minutes. Maybe not the best time, but I'm so proud of myself for being able to do it!!!!
I just wanted to share that with you. I'm pooped tonight for some reason so I'm not real talkative (imagine THAT?!?!?! lol) but I'm going to bed now. Goodnight!!!! Have a great week everyone!!!! |
